Free car park that won an award back in the 1990s for best design. Free of charge for visitors, it sports a minimalist information centre with bicycle fixing tools and a bike type pump. Toilets are available, including for disabled visitors, all built in the traditional stone style of the village. Handy parking for a variety of walks and bicycle rides set against beautiful scenery. Quintessential English destination for overseas and local visitors alike. A real gem in the Lancashire hills.

Very nice car park with clean toilets and information centre, as well as some damsons growing right next to the entrance :-)

It's free and a fair size but unobtrusive. The toilets are excellent and also free and the information centre is brilliant, particularly the bike servicing and pump facilities in there. If your bike needs servicing it would be worth taking it there just for the service and use of the pump. It's also a nice village, so long as it doesn't get too crowded, and a convenient starting point for many lovely walks.

Ideal spot to park up and wander around the village. Superb award winning toilets. The male toilets still have the pig stalls in place which is an interesting feature. Visitors centre has some good information.

Beautiful village, quaint and charming. Neat little brook running through, lovely people. Remember to take your rubbish home with you although lots of bins available.
