Hidden gem! I've been in and around Cambridge for a couple of decades and never knew about this car park. Very reasonable rate considering how close to the city center you are! Will definitely be heading here again especially as Park Street is currently closed to be worked on.

Perfect parking place for a day visit of Cambridge, 8.20 Pound for a full day (more than 5h) and free after 7PM. Parking under trees to prevent cars heating up too much .. Easy access to “The Backs” and other sights in Cambridge

Easy to pay, limited parking but cheap. You have to walk a fair bit towards the river(around 20 mins) but unless you want to pay £27 for parking, this is the best choice.

It's a pleasant place and convenient. I could park which is something.
Couple of whinges, first it takes ages to pay. Got to have a lot of luck with the machine or download an App which takes phone real estate. Second whinge was all the guano you get on your car when parking in this lovely arboreal setting. Evidently the local crow population regarded my nitrates as being in the low side.

Make sure you carry coins here or pay in advance on RingGo app. The RingGo app and all the machines were not working took me 30mins to purchase a ticket before I could get on with my day, was extremely frustrating! I couldn’t drive off because I probably would have got a ticket. Really should be checking their ticket machines on a regular basis as other people were having problems and some locals as well. Won’t be using this parking again.Shame you got to leave a star.

Now that the Park Street car park has closed we tried this car park which is likely the closest in terms of location.
The pricing is cheap compared to the others in Cambridge which generally ask for around £2.50 an hour, it's £1.30ph here!
There's also the Castle Hill mound which is worth the trek up at least once and provides great panoramics of Cambridge.

Not always has free parking spaces. You can pay with phone app: Just park there. Please note that inside parking cell phone reception is very poor. Try to go out and use phone to pay where signal is stronger.

It's OK but Castle Street Car Park which is closer to the Center is cheaper and has more space (in the undercover parking under the building at least)
