Visited here with friends in order to walk our dogs. The lane to the car park is very narrow with pull in lay bys in order for other vehicles to squeeze past. Upon entry into the car park their is a sharp turn with a concrete pillar so caution must be exercised. Once parked it is only a short walk to bewl waters edge. No toilets although parking is very limited it is free currently...

Extremely dangerous dips and rocks at the entrance to the Dunsters car-park. “Bottomed-out” by car (hopefully no damage but we will see). Others have reported the same but Bewl Water don’t seem to care. Lots of dog doo as well. Shame, as there are great views and walks.

Massive hidden pothole over brown of ramp entrance. Car now has a damaged subframe.

The car park is fine, surface is rather lumpy bumpy but it is excellently placed for a walk or cycle round the reservoir. A very short walk and you have breathtaking views across the water.

It’s still free. narrow road to reach there. No shops around. If you have kids and they will be hungry by the time you reach there, go back and reach the Bewl water sports centre, exactly North west. Walk 5 miles and come back or do 12 miles all around the reservoir. If you ve Bicycles ..this place is for you…go ride all 20 miles…you will enjoy.

Small car park located at the end of a long narrow road leading to the south of Bewl water. Very tight coming back out and heading back down the lane. Car park is free to use currently.
