Market Gates Multi-Storey Car Park

Car wash on ground floor, reasonably wide lanes making it easier to reach higher floors, there are plenty of disabled spaces at shop level. Prices are not bad too. A couple of good eateries in the centre itself incl. Burger King and Noodle Bar. Wilko have a big shop here too. Good place to dodge the rain and grab a bite to eat.

The car park didn't have signs for disabled parking. I would expect a sign to say 'go to floor 3a' as most cities label the floors.
We took a while to find the disabled parking bays, we need side space and chevrons to get the wheelchair close by the car. There was only 1 left when we arrived.
Payment machine is easy to use. Plastic coins, given on entry, can be validated with the machine.
Security guy at the precinct entrance helped me to push the wheelchair up the huge slope at the entrance. Security = 10/10

Easy enough to get to and plenty of spaces, the only thing that let it down was the fact that it only took cash in the machines. You would think after Covid they would be able to accept card payments, as people don't carry much cash around these days

Parked here for 2 nights fairly priced at £9 per night, and close to our hotel so it was ideal for me, closes at 7pm so be careful staying for a day, it is cash only which is a bit of of a downer and don’t lose the yellow token it cost £9 to replace, surrounding area of car park looks run down but ok, would use the car park again if I had to.

Wow just watched utube. A photographer stood on a public street was attacked by your car park staff. Ive checked the land registry and he had every right to photograph from the pavement without being assaulted and attacked by the old man with long hair. Shameful

Interesting video on YouTube of a member of the public being harassed by a mullet wielding employee for taking a photograph. Not a good image for Market Gates.

It’s a car park in Great Yarmouth
Centre it’s self is only good for Wilko and Starbucks. Yarmouth is the pit of depravity.
