Will never use any facilities that this company monitor. My elderly mother visited St James retail park in Harrogate and was issued with £100 parking fine for been a few minutes over the 3 hour time limit, she is not very mobile and it can take her a while to get round the shops. Why is there a time limit for a shopping centre? They have harassed my mother for the payment and would not take into account her disability. Will never go back to St James retail park Harrogate I recommend nobody uses St James as you risk a parking fine every time you go there, I would rather travel further if it means you don’t receive parking fine. This is what happens when supporting local shops.

Absolutely terrible company. No consideration at all. I took my mam for Mother’s Day to Spanish city and parked in there car park. There was a queue at the machine to pay so I went to the other machine at the other end of car park. Then I received a parking charge notice as apparently I used the council payment machine which is apparently different to the machine at the other side of car park. As far as I was aware it was one big car park. Apparently some is private and some in council( in same car park). I showed proof that I paid £3 for my ticket but they weren’t bothered that it was obviously in error as I had paid. Another 3 couples done the same as me and paid at the other machine because of the queue at the first one. So they would of got fines too. I know where I will never be visiting again due to the fact HX car park management have zero compassion. Companies using them should consider how much they are loosing out due to this company. People just won’t come back. I’ve now cancelled my next reservation and will be going somewhere else, who don’t have this parking management . I’ve heard so many bad things about them. The letter I was sent was very abrupt. Sorry Spanish city but I won’t be returning to your lovely venue, unless HX car park management is no longer there.

Don't waste your time appealing. I didn't realise they had taken over a car park I've parked in for ages. Parked in disabled bay, displayed blue badge as usual. Came back to car 45minutes later from different direction and noticed the new signage. No free disabled parking!! Paid at machine for an hr then immediately left. A few days later fine through post, no payment made within 10 mins of entering carpark. I appealed and explained I had paid for an hr when I realised the rules had changed,, but appeal disallowed, loads of signs and not paid within time limit. £60 paid, but by my reckoning they now owe me £1.40 for the hour I didn't use!!

Bought a ticket but the ticket machine did not allow me to put in my number plate in so I just managed to type in the first letter twice,I was away from the car for 18mins after displaying my ticket I had purchased only to be sent a fine a few days later. I appealed against the fine stating that I did have a ticket which was displayed yet my appeal was refused…had to pay £60 !! This company is a rip off and will do anything to take your money ….. my advice to anyone is do not park in any of the car parks controlled by HX as they will find a way to take your money !!!

Heavy handed against parents of disabled babies!!! Had a blue badge but forgot to put it on, appealed and apologised yet still these horrible people would not accept this. Spoke to PIZZA HUT who use these evil contractors and they did NOTHING. Disgusting people who have no idea of the struggles of severely disabled people and their families and right before xmas during a cost of living crisis!

This company has no morals whatsover. To receive a parking charge for not paying within 10 mins of arriving is ludicrous. The signs are not visible either. A very clever tactic to make money out of innocent people. In my case The parking meter was broken and the APP not working and therefore the reason for the delay in paying. I even paid for longer than I was at the car park. They drag you in with cheap rates, avoid these car parks at all costs!

Disgraceful company. Paid for a Parking ticket at the reception of Rendezvous Casino in Southend-on-sea. Paid at the reception yet still got the threatening letters sent stating I owe them £100.00. I asked for proof of claim and reverse liability, details of pre estimated loss and damages incurred. Nothing received, all the letters are pre signed by a machine so there is no liability on them. I received a CCJ without any details of a court date. Now they are instructing bailiffs to come to my property, well guess what? You won’t be getting through my door as I refuse to answer to anyone that produce FAKE warrants that are not signed by a judge or magistrate.

Do not park in a car park managed by this company absolute con merchants.
Parked in car park machine didn't work the first time spent time trying to ring then had to pay online in which I requested 12 hours and it took money for 3 days only stayed for hours so they already made 2.5 days money out of me
A week later I received a fine for £100 stating I was 2 minutes over a 15 minute rule for paying which is not displayed anywhere in the car park
Appealed explaining the machine didn't work had to mess around paying online and 15 min rule wasn't stated anywhere and they refused
So they made £114.40 for 4 hours parking for being 2 minutes late paying disgraceful clearly from other people's comments the machine is set up to not work
This company should be ashamed of themselves would of give a 0 if the option was there
