Gilkicker Car Park

Lots of parking spaces. Disabled spaces available. Parking charges avarage. Great to use as a walk up to Gilkicker. Lovely walk. Nice and peaceful. Also a great car park to use for walking the dog. Unfortunately, you don't get a direct view of the sea if sitting in the car.

Always has spaces, charges pretty standard and applicable all day, every day. Use it pretty often to take dog a walk along to the fort and a little beyond. One of our favourite dog walks. Off lead almost all the way, safe for dog, level and clean for people at all times. Short section of walk after fort involves pebble beach or grassland so not ideal for wheelchair. We like watching the cruise ships pass from here, usually passing about 1.5 to 2 hours after they leave Southampton.

Brill seeing the old fort on the sea front. Can't imagine how many times that's been battered by the sea. The coast down there is something else. Peaceful and not a brown water warning in site

I love this place, great for watching the world go by. Always something happening and the lifeboat/ rescue centre is an added source interest. Watch out for the parking charges.

This car park has excellent views over the Solent and close to Pebbles cafe

It's a spacious and clean car park with a great view over the Solent.
