Used to be a great place to park to walk the river, always well maintained with bonus of toilets.
Local council has imposed relatively small parking charges to fund other works however be aware their installed machines only accept cash or pay by an app, not able to pay by contactless payments.
Left to park elsewhere as had no cash and app refused to work.

Convenient free car park near to the shore at Warsash.
Can be busy on sunny days.
No longer free I’m afraid, so lost a few stars!!!

Passage Lane Car Park has toilets and a small green with seat benches. Spaces for trailers for boats. This car is not free but costs around £1 PH. You can buy a season ticket from Fareham Borough Council

Lovely little walk, free car park and easy to access. You can also get the pink ferry across to Hamble (and vise versa) and can stop in the pub for a drink and bite to eat. Highly recommended for a nice walk out.

The long term car park in Warsah now (as of mid August 2021) charges per hour and no overnight parking allowed any longer. Parking payment by coins or 'Pay by phone' App. Still free to pay to park a boat trailer. There are two marked out spaces for trailers and you can still park trailers on the grass verge on the left hand side of the car park. What a shame it is no longer free to park your car.

Was free, clean and plenty of parking. Went for a lovely walk along the shore. Carpark was busy but still had spaces left. There is a toilet but didn't use it but looked ok from outside.

It's a car park, but at least it's free and it has public toilets. It does tend to fill up from mid morning so get there early. There are special, long, car and trailer spaces if you need one after launching a boat. EDIT: From August 16th 2021 this car park is no longer free but £1/hr up to 6hrs.
