It is a car park mostly used for dog walkers. It is very small and often a scramble to get a space. There is a lot of overhanging Ash trees, which sadly look like they have caught the Ash disease. Perhaps an opportunity to expand the car park. There are good walks to be had from the car park. If you go straight south you walk down a wide bridle way. It has been eroded by water for years and not as pleasant as could be. Those first 100's yards also contains an enormous amount of dog faeces. The rest of routes are good. There are various places where children like to build dens in form of teepees.

One of my favourite places to walk the dogs at any time of the year. Lots of different paths to take and you can extend a walk for hours. Car park is not that big so best to come early.

Lovely piece of countryside. Woods, heathland, a bit of farmland. Very pretty, great views of the South Downs. The car park can get very busy, is a popular spot with walkers and there's quite a few cyclists too. Lots of dogs
