Cheltenham General Hospital Parking

Quick clean quiet hospital, give plenty of time as the parking is a nightmare around the hospital

Despite, not enough spaces, and definitely not enough disabled spaces.
Spaces are quite narrow, you would struggle if you have one of the newer SUV type cars.
I believe the Nurses have to pay to park, bloody terrible, it should be free.
Otherwise all is good

Don't use car park because very few spaces & machines often out of order..not enough disabled spaces..!

Quick and easy, easy payment box plenty of spaces when I visited

Only issue is having to guesstimate how long you are likely to be in the hospital, rather than at the Main entrance car park, which enables you to pay, when exiting the hospital.

Can't think of a better place to park my car when I have a hospital appointment

I have given the parking a 1 star for a particular reason. You have to pay for parking before you get into the hospital, and nobody knows how long they are going to be there. This is a total rip-off as everyone ends up over paying. The system should be that you pay on exit for the actual time that you have parked. I ended up paying for 4 hours, just in case, and I was there less than an hour!
