(This car park gets confused often with the multi story carpark to the rear of the station which is owned and operated by the council and is not 24 hours.)

*This Car park is close to city centre, real ale bars like the Railway Tavern & The Ale House and is the official carpark for the railway station.

Pay and display. Regularly patrolled by NCP wardens.

Got there 11.15 from working late in the city & the damn thing was locked! Trains ran for hour & half later so doesn’t make sense?!
£70 taxi back to Halstead. Not happy!

Parking good only take money after 9.30

Grim! Overpriced for tiny spaces that are better suited to cars from yesteryear.

Closes early... payment machines are frequently out of order.

Ps drug dealers hangout in the stairwells.. really

It's a carpark. You can park your car there. The stair wells smell of pee... baucause that's what they smell like in car parks. Pretty standard.

Easy to park up on the higher floors with suv. smaller cars best on lower floors

Badly signed, probably intentional. If you are dropping of you have 20 mins before you would have to pay.
