Torrington Car Park

Absolutely disgusting! The elevators and hallways all smell like piss and someone has attempted to cover up the smell with the most horrible air freshener. Oh and the ticket machine has no ink in it so the tickets are useless. 😡👎🏼

Perfect for the train station and the High Street shops and The Pantiles. Yes the lifts smell funny but it's a big carpark, you can pay by phone (and cash), cheap and evening parking is free (or £1 I can't remember) and at the rate TW are loosing car parks we need to be happy we still have this one! Oh and it's right above The Range and everyone needs something from The Range, right? I use this car park all the time.

Slightly confusing ticketing on the top floor and no EV charging points, but always got a space and convenient for the high st.

The payment systems in this car park only accept cash or or phone app payments. If you are a foreign visitor I would definitely avoid this car park. We wanted to park for a whole day day which was £10 and had to be paid with coins. The telephone phone payment system provided would not allow us to pay as it did not recognize the car. I had to go to a shop to get £10 worth of coins. By the time I got back I had already got a parking fine.
Later note: After appealing against the fine the council kindly cancelled it.

Large multi-storey car park that is tucked away down a side street. A little confusing to find.

Car-park itself has plenty of spaces. UK driving rules clearly don't apply here. It is designed and laid out for you to drive on the right hand side of the road...

Easy to find, very central, simple card payment, Do Not lose slip given when you register card, it must be scanned before you drive off or all day charge applies.

Central, cheap, lots of spaces and decent size too. Despite what every one is saying it's actually incredibly easy to pay. If you have a smart phone which most do you pay by app. As most other major carparks.

We paid for parking via RingGo and STILL got a ticket. Not sure what we did wrong but lots of other cars also had tickets. Now going to have to go through the hassle of appealing it.
