Bligh's Meadow Car Park

It's easy to park here as there are plenty of spaces.

However, it is not cheap. Even an hour is overpriced. A two hour stay cost us £4.10.

The £0.10 was a convenience fee for paying by card. Although "card fees" were made illegal a few years ago, they've managed to work around this by renaming it to a "convenience fee".

If Sevenoaks Council wanted more people back to the High Street post-covid, they could lower the prices of parking a bit.

Now I understand why there were plenty of parking spaces!

Bit expensive at £2 for an hour, very central for the town, but makes you just visit the one or two shops then get out of town, which is a shame for all the eateries, pubs and other shops that you could have visited if the authorities had more foresight.

A touch on the expensive side, but you do get what you pay for. And that's the convenience of the shopping centre being right in front of you when you park. Usually plenty of spaces and parkings free on bank holidays.

It's more expensive and crowded than the other car park 2 mins walk away

All car parks in Sevenoaks are cash only, or download an app!!! No credit cards allowed nor contactless…
So disappointing.
Guess Knole is the only place to go in Sevenoaks for us contactless users.

Quite busy at peak times, road signage could be better, small spaces

Easy to pay quickly by the App, saves needing change but why o why o why do we still have to pay in cash nowadays when it would be sooooo easy to tap a card AND the machines would not need emptying. 3 stars as unbelievably despite paying by App needing no machine emptying we are charged a 'convenience' fee - not sure who is convenienced, probably the car park operator !!!!!!

Easy to park after finally finding a space (there are not enough). BUT very expensive to park even for a short period! There are cheaper alternative car parks a short distance away.
