Canterbury Motorhome Aire

Well done Canterbury. Providing a place for motorhomers to park easily and use the park and ride means no motorhomes trying to navigate the city centre. It also means we can choose to stay here instead of a campsite if we need to visit family or friends and we don’t need the facilities. This location is perfect for visiting the shopping and theatre in Canterbury, and for stopovers on the way to France. Payment system is simple but we were a bit confused about when to pay - when we arrive? When we leave? We ended up doing both! Possibly we didn’t need to pay twice but even double the money it was great value for a safe place to park overnight! 😊

Very convenient Motorhome Aire after arriving England. Just drive in the entrance Ticket is your Bus Ticket to Canterburry. Pay is as easy, just search for your Plate Nr and pay with card or cash.

Excellent Motorhome Aire. Thank you very much Canterbury for providing this. Clean, tidy all facilities. Can I suggest one very small improvement. We arrived quite late around 6pm. But as the park and ride stops at 7.30 we couldn't go up to Canterbury in the evening. If you put on a bus at 10pm back to the park and ride we could have a stroll around the city , maybe have a meal. But thank you for such a great facility. At least 12 vans here tonight

Great site, £8 overnight including bus to and from town. Surprisingly quiet location, fresh water and waste disposal available and toilets. What's not to like, 20 places in a designated car park with an overflow car park if that's full. Highly recommended

First time using this Aire, and so disappointed. yes the site is lovely, the facilities are good. It is the motorhome mafia parking every other bay that spoils it for others, meaning you have to sneak in between 2 vans in three spaces, whilst a family eating there tea on table and chairs look at you like something they found on a hotel bath towel! And the toilets are locked at night so even with a RADAR key you cannot use them.

Absolutely a great place to park your motorhome our first time here what a surprise. Well Done Canterbury Council..if only more councils would copy Canterbury .

Brilliant stopover in Canterbury feels safe and a quiet night. The Old Gate Inn 2 minutes walk does top food and beer. Eight quid 24 hours with bus ticket included, proper welcome for motorhomers and camping caristes in England. Great job by Canterbury Council.

£4 per day so £8.00 overnight. Water, black and grey disposal. You have to Lift the grill when emptying cassettes.
You can’t enter after 20.30 (8.30pm)
You can leave anytime you want.
