Narrow one-way (was basically in a jam), no shade, very expensive. They have a gate on exit but not on entry - not clear if there will be spaces, but at the same time, have ANPR? Money and time pit. Look for alternatives.

A very central carpark in Canterbury. You don't have to buy ticket when you park, but you pay when you return so no worry about parking time. Most parking slots are diagonal rather than straight, so very easy to park. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 are two fold: very expensive and not big enough (as in not enough parking spaces). However, I ALWAYS try to find a space here before I try any other parking lot in Canterbury, because it is so convenient.

Parking very expensive at £3.20 an hour. I saw this and left straight away but I was still charged for the hour. Better off parking at Holman's Meadow Car Park which is a little further out but £1.80 an hour.

ANPR number plate recognition is not reliable there. When I went to pay, the system had not picked up my number. I paid on the basis of declaring the plate at the kiosk but the system still couldn't read my plate on the way out, causing an angry queue behind me. The touch screen is very clunky and you have to keep tapping to get it to recognise anything.

Too expensive. Very convenient location though. Street parking nearby is half the price but usually limited to 2 hours.

My husband parked here for exactly 15 minutes to pick myself and a friend up from a Carol service at the Cathedral. We were charged £3.20! Absolutely disgusting.
