Cheriton Place Car Park

AVOID this car park. I paid cash. I use both of their car parks often and wouldn't dream of not paying. I changed up some cash at work especially to pay for the parking. I use these two car parks as they always have space. I now know why. A week after using the car park I got a letter to pay £60 immediately or £100 after 14 days. So, you have no choice to pay as the machine does not issue tickets and I paid cash so no proof of payment. This has to stop. Trading standard and Rogue Traders come to mind.

TOTALLY FRAUDULENT CAR PARK - DO NOT PARK HERE OR IN THE ONE NEXT TO IT. I paid to park here by card, in the correct manner for the correct amount. The machine does not issue receipts and it says you don't need to display one as you enter your reg number. I have now been fined, I appealed showing my payment on my bank statement and they have refused my appeal. TAKING THIS TO TRADING STANDARDS NOW

Don't use this car park! It is run by a cowboy firm. Parked here after 6:30pm and paid at machine, which does not print ticket. Week later recieved PCN through post. Have now had letters from debt recovery firm and now solicitors chasing £160 invoice. Will be fighting this all the way as i believe they are deliberately misleading customers in an attempt to make money from fines issued to unsuspecting motorists who park here.

Do not use this car park. Paid in cash today and was not given a ticket. A person walking nearby advised me not to leave the car there as others had received a parking fine. Looking at other comments this has clearly been going on for some time.

Whilst in between jobs on a working day in mid March 2019, parked in this carpark, went to the machine to pay, the machine wasn't excepting coins (no other methods of payment with me) parked for 20mins to go bank a pay C.C bill, one week later I received a £60 fine (I video recorded the payment attempt for the record) which is now in the appeals stage.

......My wife meet her sister for lunch & to do an hour's shopping two weeks later, parked in the same carpark, same problem, not excepting cash payment although she has a card to make a payment, she requested 3hrs parking (clearly displayed on the screen £3.60) yet was charged £9.60 on her card for 8 hrs parking

Both occasions, no message on machine to advise what to do in the event of the machine being faulty

Machine not working and no instructions to working machine. Rip off. Only thing that Britain is good at now is private parking tickets

Be cearful because i paid for my parking but i dont get ticket. I tried to call the hotline but was off. I read opinion on Google about these car park (no ticket after pay). Because we dont have Space then i have to part there. I tryed 1 more time but i record all purchase a ticket and suprise i got ticked
