If you’re going to the swimming pool they give you a two hour parking voucher included in the cost of your swim so pick that up first and save on parking charges.

Not sure where the picture is from or how old it is. Now a sports centre with a large flat car park alongside. Pay and display. Good starting point for a park walk or a longer Rothamsted walk. Also adjacent to the new Eric Morcombe centre.
