St Albans Ridgmont Road Station Car Park

This car park goes from bad to worse. Unreliable machines now replaced with ones that take longer to issue a ticket because you have to enter car regn and time period. Machines have signs on saying they give no change and they are only situated on the ground floor. The ticket says it must be displayed under the windscreen so if parking on an upper floor you have to go down to the machine and then back up to your car - unbelievable ! In addition as another reviewer has noted the concrete walls at the sides of the ramps are too long which means it is a struggle to get any longer wheelbase cars up and down the ramps. I'd recommend you avoid but if using it for the railway station you have little choice.

Car park is fine but annoying that they've narrowed the parking spaces on Ridgmont Road - impossible to get in/out of car if parked next to a tank!

Convenient to get to station (you go out on the platform 4) but parking spaces are extremely narrow.
