Cattle Market Car Park

Despite the reviews I didnt mind this car park. It was well lit, well sign posted and easy access to the shops. Sure, it could do with a spruce up but with the CCTV I didnt feel unsafe despite it being in an basement with walkways to shops. Actually the down and outs (and there are quite in a few in Kingston) seem to hang around argos or the train station begging.

Would definalty use this car park again.

Well it is a car park.....

The confusing thing with this carpark is that it is split over a single ground level part, and then a basement area which has a number of floors (I think) and more space.

When you first turn into the car park there is no indication of spaces available in the top or bottom and you can't go from the top to the basement without leaving the car park and going round Kingston again.

Once in and found a space it is good and the basement is probably the best bet for a space. Price isn't bad on a Saturday afternoon and getting round it is easy enough.

Price is okay for the location, but I expected better cleanliness for the price. Youngsters smoking in the lower levels and the state of the public toilets were a bit off-putting. And avoid the stairs, they are even worse than the lifts.

It's a car park with underground levels and connecting passages to other shopping areas (so you don't have to risk your life crossing the road) a little dirty and smelly but no worse than other carparks the same size.
Free disabled parking.

Decent sized car park close to the town center. Still free parking for key workers…

Underground car park was closed by Kingston Council after spending a large sum of money upgrading it but closed due to covid never to open again what a waste of rate payers money

The underground car park always used to feel like fair value but it's closed now so there aren't many spaces available.

£5.20 for 1 hour 17 mins of parking on a Sunday feels very steep to me so I won't be returning. I'll shop online if this is the cost of parking these days. Shame.

I was actually at the bus station, which is very close to the car park.
Cattle Market Car Park seems to be your average small car park, in the middle of Kingston. I'm sure it's handy.
Personally, I'd avoid driving into Kingston. Public transport is fantastic and parking is better/cheaper further out.
