Epsom Hospital Car Park

Had no problem parking there, but when it came to try and pay for your ticket before you leave the credit card scanner didn't work. I would normally expect it to be free considering this is no fault of mine, but no. After using the intercom to speak of the problem I had to walk to the security office and present my ticket. Fair enough, but I was expecting a "stamp" on the ticket to let me out. Instead I was presented a credit card pay machine and no apology.

The car park seems to be just the right size for the hospital, as it is almost always at a state of nearly full. It is not cheap, but if you can get in and out in about 20 minutes it is free, which is handy if you're picking up.

Pretty basic one way system styled car park. It has good signage so its pretty easy to drive around even if youre unfamiliar. The bigger car park had the ticketed gates to enter and exit but the gate was broken when I went so had to call for help and wait a while to get in, but essentially got free parking in the end so I can't complain :)

You get 20 minutes free if just picking up a patient, then it gets quite expensive. Check hospital website for info on any concessions.

Parking spaces is awfully layed out.

Be prepared to pay if you stayed for more than 30 mins I believe which was not displayed anywhere that I could see.

Insufficient spaces during the afternoon with a very confusing layout.

No space in Block E. son having operation , waited 3 hours in car park to be told that no need to wait so I paid £8 and my son booked for 9:30 am and went into theatre at 12 pm that’s ridiculous , never see such a very bad and ugly and very tight very narrow car park , worse than St George’s but in St. George’s they give you a chance to enter a gated car park when you and reparative having operation and you are allowed to stay in hospital then at the end you pay only £7 a day with your ticket and letter from the reception
Will never use this car park in Epsom again its mis-manager and people don’t care about patients whatsoever, and whoever’s runs this car park he is a complete idiots… worse hospital car park in south west London …. East to build up a multi storey car park
