I would recommend Upper Street Car Park if you are staying or doing business locally. Compared to Angel Central parking by the shopping centre nearby it has more benefits these are 24hr parking and CCTV, access to your vehicle, more parking spaces, free bicycle parking, disabled parking facilities, electric vehicle charging, the ability to pre book parking online, and it is also slightly cheaper. Current prices are first 2 hours £7.80, £3.90 per hour from 07:00 -19:00 and £2.50 per hour from 19:00 - 07:00. Minimum parking stay is 2hrs, but they also have daily parking rate offers if you are staying with one of the local hotels such as The Hilton or Premier Inn . When you park your car you get given a chip coin make sure to keep it safe because if you lose it you have to pay £15 on top of the parking charges!

Disabled spaces aren’t easily accessible - noticed 3 different cars in spaces with no badges and this clearly isn’t monitored. Peoples ‘parking within bay lines’ clearly isn’t monitored either. Booked parking via a booking website and it’s not clear how you’re meant to park without a chip coin upon entry, so we then had to take the chip coin back to the Business Design Centre (which we had already left) to sort it. Signage in the car park isn’t clear either.

Very easy to book and pay. Reasonable price. Even more easy to enter and leave the Car Park. The parkingspaces are a bit small. Easy acces to busses to the City.

Great for business design center visits. Quite expensive, but I got a discount code from the fair organizer so that made it very price worthy for London.

Very accessible for Upper Street but it's a bit sleazy in the car park. As a woman I'd be uncomfortable getting back to my car alone at night.

Ok but very tight fit for newer cars. This was built before 4x4s were introduced to London underground parking

Good car park has cctv. Parking is cheaper than parking Local off Street parking especially if you are a non resident or drive a diesel car as Islington council have an additional Surcharge which negates any cheaper per hour tariff. Also if you use parking bee they offer s daily rate that is much cheaper than if you turned up and paid on the day.

Definitely a scam, and to be avoided.

Where to start?? There are so many issues with this place. Let's begin with their pricing - it's not just high, it's applied in an extremely deceptive manner. You pay £7.50 "for the first 2 hours" and then £4 after that, unless it's after 19:00 in which case you pay £2.50. so if you park at, say, 18:50, and stay for 15 mins you'd expect to pay £7.50 right? Wrong. They charge you the £7.50 up to 19:00 and then charge the £2.50 for the hour. This is almost certainly illegal/false advertising but I think they rely on people not questioning it.

Next part - payment. We paid (£18 for 4 hours because of the above deception) and the machine said it hadn't gone through and asked for the card and pin again. I checked Monzo before trying again and found it HAD taken my payment. The machine would absolutely have made me pay again. Card payments are meant to specifically avoid this sort of thing so it has definitely been set up this way intentionally. There is also no number to call - you have to drive up to the barrier and explain to the person on the buzzer, who clearly knew what was happening.

Safety - this place is dodgy as hell. Poor lighting, lots of winding and blind corners, and no cameras.

If you need to park around here you should do yourself a favour and just use the on-street parking down one of the nearby roads - it'll be cheaper, safer, and much less of an active scam.
