Oakwood Station Parking

This is probably a very convenient carpark for people coming down to London from the North, who want to use park and ride, but the entrance is not well sign-posted. The layout of the park-and-ride did not immediately seem clear to me and I ended up in a head-to-head with another driver. The number of spaces is limited and was full by 9.30 a.m. on the weekday, when I arrived. I eventually found ample parking space at Cockfosters park-and-ride, which is a few miles away.

Used to be very handy, now they have put the prices up!! £6 to park on a weekend or bank holiday. You have to pay for whole day even if you are only using it for a couple of hours. Rip off!!!!

I parked on a driveway - prebooked
Much less hassle - I imagine it's nearly impossible to get a space here after eight o'clock
Only about 30 spaces
And more expensive than the driveway I parked on - which was only.just up the road

Nice little car park.
Does get busy monday to friday
Only downside is it is dearer than cockfosters station.

Good parking

Parked here from mid morning until mid afternoon on a Monday 20th March. Payment machine wasn’t working and kept saying I had paid already. Fortunately I checked with NCP and they confirmed I hadn’t, so I paid on line to avoid a fine. While at the ticket machine I was approached by a woman who attempted to sell me some stolen clothes. Later when my wife and I returned after taking the train to London and back, my catalytic converter had been stolen in broad daylight. Replacement cost just over £3,000 which lost me my no claims bonus and cost me the excess fee. Not a secure location with the sort of people frequenting it.
