Although CCTV cameras are all over the place, the management did not help in identifying the criminal.
I also I had to pay for my stay, zero empathy nor any type of support.
Will never park here again, lost trust in this company.
This car park is extremely expensive looks safe from the outside but the minute you park up you have people watching what you are doing. I paid £47 for a few hours when return to my vehicle the back screen was smashed and all my belongings where stolen, I spoke to ncp about this matter and they said they will get back to me and still haven’t. I also spoke to the police who has access to my iPad tracker which was also in my bag but no one had done nothing.
You expect some level of security parking underground but it turns out there are break ins and robberies about once a week. Costs upwards of £30 to park for a couple of hours for the privilege of a nice sheltered location to get robbed. What appears to be gated access only designed to be accessed with a number plate turns out to be accessible by anyone going in and out at will - the keypad was disabled. Plenty of investment in automatic number plate recognition and paperless payments but not enough to provide basic levels of security. NCP say they don't have access to the CCTV themselves either. Customer service had no sense of urgency or tact. They seemed happy to have broken glass left all over the floor until the parking attendant started his shift (2-3 hours after we found the car broken into). When the attendant finally showed up, he says you leave the car parked 'at your own risk', and seemed to know who the culprits were and how regularly it happens.
Avoid.
Our car was broken into yesterday - I guess I should have read the other reviews on here, noticed broken glass on the car park floor and random opened suitcases in the stairs when walking out with the family.
Owners need to address security problem URGENTLY with on site staff!
We’re told by the cleaner when we find the van in the morning:
1. The pedaestrian security door was broken and lets anyone in.
2. The security guard was sick and didn’t come in that night.
3. The security camera system was apparently broken and not recording.
You have been warned. And it’s expensive.
