Ockham Forest Old Lane Car Park

Very handy place to stop or meet people just off M25/A3 junction. Free car park and pleasant place to have a walk. First car park on left was quite busy, one a little further on was quieter. Says there's a cafe so guess there are loos too.

A great parking area to stop off the M25 for a walk through the forests. There is enough space to park and the paths are marked really well for an enjoyable walk, hike or bike ride.

This was my first visit to Ockham Common and was not disappointed. Some lovely walks and a great place to practice some woodland photography. Absolutely beautiful, just a shame that visitors here treat it like a rubbish tip....so much litter. Take your rubbish home, what's the big deal.

There are 2 car parks for Ockham Forest linked by a footpath through the forest. The bigger car park (nearer to the A3) has a cafe and toilets.
The children particularly loved the Christmas tree (a living pine about 10 mins walk from the car park) and the decorations that has been left on it.

On the day we visited it was very busy and it took quite a while to find a space.
If you are planning a visit I would recommend going earlier.

We found the staff polite even tho they where so busy , the food was excellent we had to wait slightly longer considering how busy they where !
We have booked a table for next week :)

Great dog walking with sandy soil. Semaphore tower opens once a year for tours- wonderful view from the top.

Very decent car park. Parking is free. Has reasonable sized parking spaces, to sufficiently park your vehicle. Would be nice to see less potholes. Nice view and surrounding though. Park here for access to Ockham & Chatley Heath.

Good solid ground to park on. Pleasant surroundings. Ockham Bites is a great cafe with loads of choice and friendly staff. Use it regularly.
