Leigh Woods Parking

I love walking in the woods Abbots Leigh, having free parking at such a lovely location is a bonus - although they have recently put fences up to stop people parking on the verge so I cant imagine how bad it will be in the school holidays. It was quite bad before so may have to look elsewhere this summer.

In Leigh woods. Totally inadequate for the number of people visiting at weekends and school holidays, but as of 28/02/2019 a number of new bays have been added and the surface improved. Free of charge at present.

Off road parking right in the centre of your walks. It was very safe as there are lots of people around. Just carefull when it's raining.

Lovely walks with kids, dogs or both. Good for biking too. Although coffee shop hardly ever seems to be there

The woods are great but I advise NOT parking here. If you go over the time you paid for you get a £27.50 charge through the post. In our case we had to change our baby which put us over the 2 hour ticket.

Will not be coming back here again as I don't want to over pay for parking, just in case.

£2-4 for parking. Lovely area for a walk or cycle.

Paid the appropriate fee and left before time expired. Still got fined. They couldn't find number plate despite evidencing the charge on a bank statement. They don't dispense a printed ticket for me to evidence. Bank statement wasn't sufficient. Disgusting.

Lovely area to go for a walk, lots of dogs, nice and clean and quiet
