Got a fine of 100£ for entering here. The duration was just 17 min, the boards weren't visible at night and I assumed it to be the parking for tesco and KFC.
This is burglary.

Parked in the car park for a minute and as they don't accept bank cards, I immediately left the car park and received a Parking Notice. And they have sent the notice after 2 weeks. This is not fair for the customers who come for shopping to Ashford.

Only take coins in this new post covid world? What a joke - they do this so they can fine you £100 for not being able to pay! Should be illegal.

This is one of the most confusing car park as people mostly confuse it with KFC or Tesco car park. The thing which really upsets me is this only accept coins and no card payments

We have never been to this car park before and came at night. We thought it was attached to the Tesco car park as there were no clear signs stating otherwise. Only to receive a £100 fine a few days after Christmas. We were there for 12 minutes.

WARNING! You risk being fined even if you pay and adhere to all the parking terms.

I paid £1 (within 2 minutes of arriving) to park for 2 hours then received a fine.

I went through the dispute process with Popla (parking ombudsman) who decided in favour of Local Parking Security Ltd because I couldn't prove their coin operated machine was faulty.

They do not accept cards so do not enter WITHOUT CASH.

I entered my registration into the machine, paid £1, and stayed for 41 minutes, then left (well within the 120 minutes I paid for).

I asked Local Parking Security Ltd to reconcile cash in their faulty machine and also to provide access to the CCTV footage on site. They refused and threatened legal action.

I will now take this up as a private civil matter, but I suggest you are very careful using this car park - even if you PAY to park you can get FINED!!
