Quite a small car park maybe 30 - 40 spaces, as you can imagine it gets full quickly so set off early if you want a space £4.50 for the day isn't bad, usually a coffee van there too. A good starting point for many different walks, we walked around the reservoir but you can go alot further over to Edale and back. Paths/tracks can be very muddy and water logged so boots and waterproofs required during the rainy season (so all year round) don't let that stop you enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Breathtaking scenery. We walked for 3.5 hours, Kinder Scout. Highly recommend. Bear in mind no mobile reception in the car park.

Good starting point for Kinder Scout. Walked here on one of the hottest days in August! Glad we did though as the views are magnificent. Wear sensible shoes/boots, take lots of water and a map & compass. Head to Kinder Downfall. Great views.

Great carpark for walking up Kinder Scout. There is a plaque about the Mass Trespass on the rocks at the edge of the carpark. Not massively loads of spaces so you might want to get there early on weekends and in holidays, but we had no problems parking at 8am on a Sunday.
There was a coffee van in the carpark when we visited which we got a brownie and a couple of drinks from. There was plenty of people sitting around on the benches and chairs near the van. Prices were pretty much standard for a carpark.

Its found down a dead end road at the bottom..
The turning is opposite the Hayfield campsite.
Parking is paid for via ticket machine.
1 hour £1.50
2 hours £2.50
4 hours £4.00
All day £4.75.

There are plenty of places to walk to from this car park, so do your research before hand of which way to go when you get there, as I found no phone signal when in the car park.
Kinder reservoir nearby too.
Toilets available across the road.
Plenty of spaces available as alot of people park along the road and walk.

Lovely little parking space and opportunity to get coffee and refreshments from little coffee van. There is a caravan park just around the corner. Just 15 minutes walk to KInder Reservoir. Nice location too.

I regularly pass Bowden Bridge car park on my route as a Nation Trust outdoor patrol volunteer. Bowden Bridge has a plaque to the mass trespass of 1932 & us a great place to start the walk to Kinder Scout via William Clough..
