WARNING!! DO NOT PARK HERE UNLESS YOU ARE CLUED UP WITH APPS/SMARTPHONES & ARE 100% SURE THEY WILL NOT FAIL YOU ON THE DAY - THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO PAY AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A £50 FINE. I parked here on a Saturday (which has always been free in the past) but things have changed in West Byfleet, and this station car park now uses ANPR to send you a fine if you have issues paying for your parking like I did. I tried to pay using the Ringgo app and the payment would not go through. I tried to call the help number to no avail. I had no option but to leave and attend my appointment, which this parking fiasco made me late for... needless to say, I received a £50 parking fine 2 weeks later. When I appealed, they said I should have found somewhere else to park, but the station was my last resort, there was no other parking available... while they are technically right, you can see why this put me in a tough spot, and there was no-one around to help or explain this to. I will not be parking here again!
