This is a free carpark, which offers a good view over London, from Heathrow to the city. It’s a small one, there is enough room for about four vehicles and there is also a rubbish bin. It’s mostly used by people who walk their dogs, given that it’s right on the downs. It’s a bit noisy, as it’s touched by a main road, Grandstand Road. At night the view over London can be quite spectacular. Coming out of this carpark can be tricky: if there is room, the best thing to do is to turn around and leave head first, as cars come quite fast, the speed limit being 40mph and most people will exceed that.
