The Silk Road
Free car park open to the public, with access to the downs. Often frequented by bird feeders, so lots of birds here, particularly crows. This place gets very busy at times. The surface is gravel and it’s on a slight slope.

Excellent service. It wasn't a racing day but I was still able to park and take in the scenery while enjoying a light lunch. The ice cream at the end was heavenly. I could come here in the summer for the ice cream alone... Definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere near Epsom Downs.

Great outlook over the downs but carpak could do with some TLC, large potholes and very uneven

No loned spaces, so can get full but if people packed better there would be more space. Also watch out for big stones/rocks and holes.
