Salt Lane Car Park

In these covid times we don't carry cash. I had a £10 note but no coins. Your parking meters don't take notes. They also don't take debit cards. A kindly stranger gave us some change so that we could park and wander around the shops. Think we'll go elsewhere in future.

For a car park it's a good one. Nice and easy to get too. Always plenty of parking when I've gone in the car. Plenty of motorcycle parking too which is great.

You park easily without stress, enough space for larger cars. Just a few minutes' walk from the city center.

Good location for town but especially for council offices. Charges were fair for central.pstking at £3 for 2hrs. Vehicle space was limited as was room around vehicle as bays quite small. Access in was straightforward in a city renowned for difficulty in travel and parking.

Reasonable car park, although rhe space is minimal, especially for longer vehicles such as double cabs. Minimum parking xharge is £1.60 (per hour) in the charging hours. Easier to reach the city center.
