At a location like a hospital when you have appointment and surgery times. It should be better managed. Some sort of smart system, or staff monitoring the availability of spaces.
Amazed the pos and barrier/ticket machines have the ability to count capacity, 2 decades ago I was a multistorey worker and systems where in place then. JOKE

Car park is a joke When is full the barrier should never work People have to wait for hours and hours there's no parking anywhere on a floor

Almost all spaces are taken all the time. There's no information whether there are any free spaces available at the barrier or if the car park is full. How typical of Luton, disorganisation at it's best.

Parking full and cars still coming in... And you end up driving around for 30 min. This is wrong and won't use it again

This car park lets people in even if it is already full which is utterly absurd as it means you can happily sit inside it for an hour trying to get out even when there are no spaces. Seriously how dim were the designers?!

This car park is rubbish,let’s you in when car park is full I sat in a queue all the way to the top floor and back down again,as this took longer than half hour when I eventually got out I had to pay £1 even though I couldn’t get parked.What a joke.Just about suns up Luton.

At last, the much needed Lewsey Road multi-storey is open! This makes getting to hospital appointments actually feel doable if you're not a local! Pricing not bad, esp given it's for a hospital - I paid £3 for my 2 hour visit and currently it's pay on return to your vehicle (Sept 2021). I found a space easily, though I might have been jammy as I didn't venture in far before I found it, so didn't see how full the upper floors were. But it's 100% better than before! (Heads up though, there's now a lot of building work at the hospital itself, so check your appointment is actually at the main site!)
