The Strand Car Park, Rye

I like this place, but it's difficult to rate, its mostly a closed car park, but for a gap ideally suited for the most excellent visiting Motorcyclists.
There are other ways pedestrians and wheelchairs can entre, with some seating along the muddy rivers edge, with a small grass area, alongside a busy roundabout. although I think, none of which is sitable for children, unless strapped in, or at a very sensible age.
Opposite are two good Cafe's and a Fish & Chip bar. Enjoy.

Lovely little car park, in a small courtyard with lots of little shops, ticket machine is very difficult to see, could be brighter, sat nav takes you to the main road so beware very difficult to get back to car park,

I wish the country would make things simple. You can not see the numbers on the pay to park meter . At all when the sun is on it you can not see anything at all . A job to use

It's a great place to go for a ride out on a weekend. There's normally loads of other bikers there. There's a good choice of food all within walking distance.

Plenty of space when I went there. Although there was also plenty of street parking for a Bank Holiday Monday in January. A lot of birds poo on my car which wasn't appreciated. The ticket machine was also a little tempremental.

I visit the harbour alot when I'm on the motorbike(hassle parking if your in the car) great place cafe is tops.
One small problem is that some or maybe only one resident does not like motorbikes as I've had three punctures coming out of there.
It's not stopping me from visiting.
