Brewery Road Car Park

The new car park is nice. The old one was huge and open air. Then the World Wildlife Moved in and build their head quarters on this plot. It is now covered and there are plenty of spaces. The charges are reasonable and are in walking distance of the shops and the theater/ cinema.

Ok, pay before you leave, check town council website for prices, same price as town centre car park

Handy place to park but expensive and is often full.

A smashing (hopefully not literally) car park that never seems to get full up.

Absolute rip off, machine wouldn't give any change, even though there were no signs to say this, the only way possible to get my change from their machine was to walk to the top of the Peacocks, wait and walk back again. I should LEGALLY been given my change, or at the very least there should be a sign saying no change available.

Ticket machines on entry all broken. How do you expect a person to pay for parking?

Car park has just been upgraded to ANPR now, not one of those that claim and give you a ticket anyway. Free charging points as you enter, a mixture of Type 1, Type 2 and then the good old plug sockets. Spaces are tight though, particularly as there is a pillar between the spaces, however parked at night to visit the theatre opposite and was pretty empty and well lit on way back. Easy to pay and then exit
