Halliford Park Car Park

Nice area to walk dogs or sit quietly. However, trip hazard at exit from car park to grass area.

Good place for waking with dog 🐶 plenty of car parking space free. Open green place with kids play ground :) no toilet available. Recommend for day walking

Lovely sunny day. Sat on park bench in middle of field on verge of woodland. Parking easily available. Great for walking dogs.

Halliford park was, until the house was demolished in 1957 as derelict, the gardens to Halliford House.
The grounds upon which the house once stood are now designated as a public park.
Look carefully as you walk around and parts of the house can be still be found.
The paths are just trodden down walks.
Great place to visit with large open areas combined with dense woodland and trees that must be 200 years old or more. Lovely for dogs who are safe to run free.(Just remember to pick up what your dog leaves behind please)

This is a really good area for dog walking. There is a fairly big wooded area, which has lots of good sniffs for dogs, as well as a chance of squirrel sightings.
There is also a large grassy area where dogs can run around and chase balls.
There is a lovely playground for children and also benches and picnic tables.
Parking is free. What's not to like.
