Gobions Open Space Car Park

The woods and the fishing lake are beautiful places to come and visit

We parked in a nearby street and walked to the pond. In a sunny day like today it was a beautiful walk. Not too crowded - just a few dog walkers and a couple of families. Not a dramatic view but lovely piece of nature and easy walk.

This car park looks like work is being carried out at the moment. Lots of cars as very popular with dog walkers. No disabled parking and access would be limited

Great place for walking the dog. Almost always other dogs for him to run around with in the large field by the car park. Adequate parking. Several routes into the woods and lake. Lovely area for summer walks

Lovely open space and lake to walk around. Perfect for walking the dog off lead. There is also a really good children’s playground which is safely fenced off. The open space is great for ball games, picnics etc.

I enjoyed my walk here although it was quite difficult to find as you follow a small enterence in a residential area. Also very muddy in winter!

Fantastic walk, lovely woodlands, perfect for dog walking, beware of the very bumpy drive to the car park though!
