Obviously not talking just about the carpark... Love coming here with our 5 year old. Old railway track which you can walk, run, cycle, scooter, wheelchair along. If we haven't brought the scooter with us we usually park then exit the carpark and go down the hill - the walk is a circular walk and passes through the forest, past Coopers Mill and eventually you end up back on the railway track. We saw deer just last week which was a bonus :-) A really lovely place - when you do it I would recommend stopping at any point, put everything out of your mind, stare at the trees or sky and just listen :-) Sooo good for the soul :-)

It's a small car park but a great place to start a lot of different routes in the forest.

Free (small) parking and can fit up to 13 cars if people park sensibly. Road leading up to this parking is single track so drive carefully. Good base to explore Wye Forest & Knowles Mill.

Hidden gem. Car park is small so get there early morning or late afternoon. Beautiful walk along the old rail line or explore Dowles Brook or the forest paths.

This is my favourite area in the whole of the Wyre Forest. You can walk in any directon from this carpark and the scenery, is beautiful. Parking is free, which is always a bonus. We often go for a stroll, from the carpark along Dowles Brook, to Knowles Mill Cottage, then cross over the little bridge, climb the bank, and come back along the old railway track, where the views are spectacular, but wherever you go, and whatever season it is, you certainly won't be disappointed if you choose to come here. The energy here is fantastic, I actually nickname Dowles Brook, the Varanassi of the Wyre Forest.

Plenty of free spaces available and good walks along the old railway line.

This is a very out of the way car park but as has been said a hidden gem. You really need some satellite wizardry as you have to through housing estates, narrow lanes etc to get there. It is very small and I think we got lucky as we found a space as someone was leaving. That said go ! We went on a really hot day mid July. If you want to see butterflies this is the place to go. There is a very uninspiring looking straight tarmac track just off the car park. In a mile or so walk we counted 13 different species including silver washed fritillary. Also a nice flat area for family cycling.

Dry mill Lane car park Wyre Forest
Great alternative to the main "touristy" entrance as here parking is free and the trail are more interesting water falls forest ponds, hidden old Mills and much more 😀
