Lots of different entrances, nice walks, good open picnic area with a bbq plate on the picnic tables which is a great idea if you want to take a disposable bbq with you. Lots of events such as the bluebell walk in spring. Big notice board in picnic area full of information and events.

Fantastic country park for a great walk, great cafe serving fresh food with the added benefits of toilets. Car parks are pay and display but it goes to the upkeep of the area so worth the couple of pounds

Google ""Minster Baywatch, scam" before using their paid for car park. Especially if you're disabled.

I know it's a wilderness area but if the parking is 24 hour then some level lighting - easily done with LED strips etc these days would be a boon. The walk from the cafe to the car is interesting in early winter!

Lovely spot to break an M6 journey. 24 hour pay and display but great place to stretch your legs if you are travelling with children or dogs.
