You can walk on to the rifle range and Burlish Top nature reserve from Blackstone Picnic area simply by crossing the main road by the traffic lights and heading up the public footpath and till you go under the bridge. See the pics. Then turn right and go up the track. Follow the path over the top of Burlish Top and down onto the Severn Valley Rail line and onto the rifle range, if you’re brave climb the Devil’s Spitlefield and marvel at the free views of the Safari park and see steam trains chuffing past on the SVR. Wild cows wander and graze below. Just go and experience this place.

Doesn't look as if it has been maintained since 1987 when the bypass was built. Poor signage/missing signs. Poor paths and steps. Very dangerous bridge crossing. Barriers for cars but no provision for pedestrian safety. No picnic tables. Very poor.

Good sized free car park, less than 200 from river. Nice walk into Bewdley Town from there (not wheel chair friendly)

Either walk by the river to old Bewdley or cross the road by pedestrian crossing walking past Toll House Cottage where there's a Free Gallery to the Rifle Range and Devils Spade Full Nature Reserve. You may hear Lions roaring 🦁 from Bewdley Safari Park

Plenty of parking space and very close to the river. A handy spot to use as a start and finish for some lovely and interesting walks.

Lovely caravan and motorhome site next door. There are no toilet/shower block on the camp site so you need your own facilities. But really close to Bewdley so ideal for West Midlands Safari Park and Seven Valley Steam Railway.
