Nice park for dog walking with easy links to the five pits trail. Some small wooded areas and lots of wide open fields. Generally kept clean and tidy.

parking is free. it is A good start point of A walk. The walk of five pits trail begins here but it is a long return walk to Tiibshelf.

First time visiting, and was pleasantly surprised. There's nice gravelled walkways, lots of grass for the dogs to run, but nice patches of woodland for more relaxed walks, too.
There is a pond, with some wildlife, so if your dog is a fan of water, just be mindful.. As soon as we turned the corner and saw water, mine was off 🤦
Plenty of parking space, too, with another carpark at the opposite end of the park too.

Fantastic walk, with lakes and woodlands and overlooking the golf course and connecting onto the five pit trail making it an ideal start for mountain bikers and dog walkers alike

Love gGrassmoor and Williamthorpe. Lots of space the pond by the road needs attention I get a good 3 mile walk here and a picnic as well. Lowe's one star cos not enough picnic tables. When will they all learn- food is the key.

Handy car park to start the Five Pits Trail or just to walk around Grassmoor Country Park. Sandwich van available at the car park, looked to be doing a good trade today.
