Cromwell Square car park

Great car park close to the town centre, part of the 'quids in' council initiative where it is £1 to park after 3pm monday-friday. It does get busy here though so getting a space may not always be easy.

Can often be quite busy but entry after 1800 being free is great as it is in a central location and there are many clubs and bars nearby.

Not the cheapest we used during our day trip but close to town centre and spaces were available on a Thursday afternoon even though it is not a large car park

Nothing brilliant about this place, it's just a car park, with a view of the smart tinted glass Willis building.
This car park is always full or nearly full on Friday or Saturday evenings and virtually empty on Sundays; why don't the management reduce prices on Sundays?
I suppose on the plus side it has town centre CCTV so your car is less likely to be vandalised.
I like the history of it, the fact that it is part of an abandoned dual carriageway road. The planners in the 1960's definitely had big ambitions, pity Ipswich never followed through with their inner ring road ideas.

Convenient location, but no longer free after 6pm which is a real shame.

Takes cards. Good value parking. Close to town centre.

I found it Easy to park there and the pay and display machine has contactless payment system which is excellent and makes it easy to pay for parking.

A lot of space for parking. The access road is St Nicholas, but it forces you to go around to enter.
