You gotta type your car reg in on the ticket machine which is annoying. I can never remember it. So sorry have to keep looking back at my car reg when all I want to do is buy a ticket. Surely this little car park does not have a huge problem with people swapping tickets with one another that they have to bring in these measures??
Plus you have to go through the subway to get to Newcastle. It’s sometimes a little shady so not the best place to park for access to the town.
However I always use this car park so it can’t be too bad

Handy for Newcastle under Lyme town centre. £1.90 for 2 hours. Ticket machines are now ones you enter your car reg. Has height restrictions barrier on now as well.

I had to attend a medical appointment unfortunately this facility was opened it certainly wasn't busy by any stretch of the imagination because people in the city seemed to be being very careful certainly at this time of the day that I visited.
We took a taxi from Duke Street car park to the medical facility taxi driver where's first class a real gentleman I left my glass case in the car it had dropped out of my pocket and some half an hour later he changed after me knowing where I was and located me and returned the glasses and case I think he was an Indian Gentleman by origin and absolutely wonderful person thank you whoever you are BMW taxi driver

Because of short staff in the cafe(1 is taking orders and cleaning/clearing the tables and 1 cooking and washing up, she has to leave the post as well to get chicken presumably to use in one of the food orders) led to a 20 - half an hour wait for our food (all English breakfast) when it arrived you can tell that the beans has been rewarmed up and the the whole meal was still cold including the beans. It is not the fault of the staff who were overworked and there should be 3-4 people to run the service properly.

Had a carnival going on the car park which forced me to have to go to a more expensive car park when I went to the cinema. Why not have the carnival somewhere else and save car parks for people to use when they go to the carnival?! This just goes to show the Newcastle is loosing its standards.

It works.

Hard work if you park and use a wheelchair to access shops, banks and building society. Ramps from underpasses are too steep to push up.
