Thorpe Park Car Park

We had an amazing trip, top tip: arrive at the park just before it opens and head straight to the back first and work you way forward, way shorter queues. the free water refill stations are brilliant in the heat as well. definitely try out the new labyrinth ride it was crazy and the queue was quick

Thorpe park is amazing but the car park is an absolute nightmare!!!!!!!

Every time we visit the Thorpe park always going to take at least 1.5 hour to leave the car park.

Poorly organised and the system is extremely slow.

A lot of cars even just drove away from the entrance side so no need to pay for wait.

If you need to park better get the parking online for £7, on the spot if £8

Car park backs up even on a non peak day. (Takes over 45+ minutes to get out). To make it worse they even charge you £8 to literally not be able to leave. Awful car park barriers (happens every visit).

Okay car park but massive puddles when it rains if you're on the stones. Little bit of a windy route to get to the parking spaces but is likely needed for when it is busy. Exit could be more clearly marked on the road for the lanes as it was hard to see in the rain.

We booked our car park ticket online and it saved us alot of time when leaving as we would not need to collect any car parking tickets and we also saved money booking online. My main issue is with the routes on offer to drive out the car park at the end of the day as a better system could be put into place to speed up the process of leaving the car park so a word of caution is try leaving a little early.

The layout of this car park is quite bad. The cars are streamed coming in, however half the vehicles have to cross the two main lines to get to the drop off point. Exiting is even more confusing with little lane guidance and no control. The whole area needs a good rethink to make it sensible and efficient. Decent signage would also help as there is little indication of disabled and hotel parking.

A good day out for fright night. However rides seem to break down a lot.

Disabled toilets where not maintained really well and much of the in park toilets closed early causing rush at the dome toilets.

Thorpe park is the best theme park in England. It has thrilling exciting rides, as well as rides for the little ones too, perfect family day out. ❤
