Beautiful place. Cranky landowner has (hopefully temporarily) revoked access along a permissive path which made a good circuit but no alternative signposting so just follow your nose.

A very steep, rocky walk down that leads to a beautiful bridge and stream. Beyond that, the footpath is now closed off. So all you can do is walk straight back up the steep, rocky walk. Bad form of National Trust for only signposting this at the bottom.

It's not a huge area but on a gorgeous spring day, it makes for a great walk with a meandering stream, lots of meadow area and grassy hills, trees and woodland walks. There aren't many other walkers either. The car park can probably take 12 cars. But you could try parking on the road at the other end.

Fantastic walk with a bit of everything although ironically hardly any buzzards 😂. Be prepared for the last hill - it hurts!!
