Relaxing place to sit

The carpark is in a great location right next to the water, it’s a lovely spot for a walk, fish, or paddle board. You could fit at least 20 cars, it is a gravel carpark so take care for holes. Care should be taken driving down the country lanes, there are working farms nearby and tractors regularity driving up and down, some people were driving far too fast and nearly collided with a tractor.

Kingfisher’s and other wildlife can spotted along the waterway. There is a lot of algae, so be sure to wash your boards to prevent cross water contamination and reeds can get stuck on your fin, even when paddling centrally so take care to remove and leave no trace. Would make a great spot to watch the sunset on a summers evening.

An amazing little hide away for a picnic under the trees and a bit of kingfisher spotting. Mind the cow pats 😊
