Porthmadog Station Car Park

Stunning. Travelling this historic railway from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog was fascinating. Lovely views from a unique and well maintained steam train made our day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic and famous in the history of narrow gauge railways around the world. It was the first. Interesting town, plus numerous eateries etc. Ride the Welsh Highland Railway (WHR) or the original Ffestiniog Railway or both from the same station.
