Nice car park with plenty of spaces, charging flat rate of £5 for the whole day. If you are staying for 4 hours or less the leisure centre car park is cheaper. If you are staying for less than an hour you might want to check the surrounding streets to see if there is one of those parking bays that allowing up to 60 mins free parking.

Parked in the carpark on the 9th October 2021 and the ticket machine has taken our payment twice. i.e. 2 x £5.00. £5.00 is more than enough to park and show the grandchildren the Castle but to have an extra £5 stolen from us is beyond the pale.

£5 for 24 hrs is great but £5 for 1hrs isn't. No scale for shorter stop, i.e £1 for 2 hrs so we didn't, drove off and went elsewhere.

Flat fee of £5. Only wanted to stay an hour whilst visiting the Spar. Didn’t stay, did shopping elsewhere

Close to castle. 5£ for cars.Beauty town.Recomending!
