You can sink in to a old country tales and legends, with a wonderful landmarks hills and gorgeous little beaches. Each trail is an adventure full of hidden secrets scattered around the island. You will love it ... kids will love it ,and it will drain their out of energy, making your way home peaceful and quiet 😉

Beautiful place. Check signs for parking prices. Free to use toilets in the car park. Ice cream there on our visit. Plenty of picnic tables. Beach was spotless walk up to the light houses was well marked. We got to see seals on the rocks.
Walk around the woods try to spot a red squirrel as you go.

Incredible beach, pure white sand for miles.

Perfect day out at the beach. Easy parking (not too dear for the day either), some toilets and a lovely beach to ease away life's worries.

Would've been full 5 stars but the entrance/exit toll seems inadequate for weight of traffic and the road needs to be wider for two vehicles to pass safely, without going off the edge of the road surface.

Amazing place. Quite beautiful. Fabulous walk along the beach and then a clamber over grass covered dunes to see the church ruins, the ponies and the lighthouses. A long walk back through pretty wooded areas. The cost of parking was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely come back.

Plenty of space to park. Close to the beach and trails to walk through the forest. A few miles round trip if you want to walk to Ynys Llanddwyn which is beautiful and well worth a visit. Can also see red squirrels on the trails through the forest. Dogs were permitted on the right hand side of the beach when we visited in early September as well as on the island and forest trails. Be aware of semi wild ponies on the island

A wonderful location as well as being a maritime museum, with two lighthouses, lifeboat Station, crew and coastguard cottages, ruined church and wild ponies. Views of the mountains of Snowdonia are wonderful, as is the mile and a half wide sandy Bay.

A great car park as so near to the beach. Across the sand dunes and you can either go along the beach and then to the island. Check for low tide of course. Though you most probably still need wellies even then as rock pools are still at the crossing. If you feel like a hike there is a climb to the island also to the left. Also from the car park you can walk in the woods which are huge. They wrap around the beach and are easy walkways to follow. There are different routes from easy to difficult. Bikes, horses and even ordnance. A wonderful place that literally stretches for miles if you wish or a gentle stroll.
