Pick a sunny day, and the memory of your visit to Cardiff Bay will forever stay with you! It’s a fantastic place full of energy, beauty, light, sea, wooden walks around the water, restaurants, pubs and bars with terraces overlooking the bay. There are still small parts under structural improvement but what has been done so far, has been done with a lot of thought, imagination, fun and aesthetics: a little stature here, and a little overhanging balcony there, it will constantly amuse the new comer. There are even smaller replicas of Big Ben and the London Eye. Full of vibe, full of life. Food and drinks for every taste and requirement.
A small note: very soon the bay will need way more parking spaces than what is provided for visitors at the moment. Cardiff is notorious for the strict parking restrictions, but it needs to allow more spaces for visitors to enjoy the city as much as the residents do.

Ticket-less parking which means you need to remember your registration number when paying. I dont know about you, but mental gymnastics spoil car parking pleasure for me. I had to move the car and park it right next to the payment machine as I got it wrong 4 times when guessing. Spaces are a little tight but that didn't concern me too much as I'm a whizz at reverse parking next to columns without reducing my car to a single wing mirror model. Really close to the bay restaurants and shops but quite expensive. Nearly £6 for 3 hours.

Hand for Cardiff Bay pubs and restaurants, spaces a bit small if you have a large family car. Prices are reasonable.

Big car park but poor amount of spaces for parents with kids . Also I feel like they don't have any policy in place to execute those spaces. Overall a big car park.

Great car park where you pay into a machine when you exit. Lots of floors and I've always managed to find a space. Convenient walking distance to restaurants, shops and theatre.

Never seen so many people in one place since lockdown got lifted in many towns and cities all over the UK.

My first time in Cardiff, travelled all the way down from Edinburgh with my wife.

Such a beautiful place. There was so much to do here, dozens of eateries, jet speed boats, all sorts, ice cream palour--thank God I didnt bring my kids with me, I'd have gone skint in 24 hrs! 😂😂😂

I'd always thought Scotland was amazing but Wales and especially Cardiff blew my mind.

Sure coming back again!
