Beacon view is heathlands with massive open space and forestry. There is two devised walks red: Beacon bimble which is a gentle walk exploring ancient landscape. This walk is clearly signposted and colour coded to red. The second walk duchess ride ramble: colour coded in green. This walk takes you around a forest trail with fantastic views, with a bench to see the vast open space. Walked this today in the beautiful autumn sun. If you like forestry walks then take a stroll and explore. Lots of parking around not just at the view.

Good little car park, nice view to pen y fan but obstructed by trees. A fairly easy walk to the duchess ride viewpoint but hard going after heavy rain - very boggy
