Free car park with lovely views. Walk down the (very steep) hill to Cafe Meinir/the beach, or take one of the paths up to Yr Eifl. Carpark is relatively flat with lots of space. Information board with details about Tre'r Ceiri and circular walk in the corner of the carpark.

Yr Eifl Car Park has plenty of spaces to leave your vehicle of choice and is completely free! On top of that, which is a win in itself, it's right across the road from a lovely, easy walk up into the mountains themselves.

The car park is quite high up, so don't forget those low gears on the way up to it, but once you're there you'll find that it's wide enough to get in and out of and unmissable. There aren't any painted bays however, at least not at the time of this review, so don't forget to be considerate to your fellow drivers and hikers!

It's also a fantastic spot for a bit of photography if you're a nature lover. There are plenty of sheep their wee lambs in the area, as well as a variety of birds and butterflies!

The best place to park for either a climb up to Tre'r Ceiri or along to the radio tower or just sit and watch the view. Fantastic for sunset.

Perfectly located for walking around Yr Eifl. No charge, no amenities. Looked like some RVs had stayed overnight. Carry on along the road (if you dare) to the cafe and old mining village at the bottom - Nant Gwrtheyrn / Porth Y Nant (very steep road !)

Perfect spot! Really interesting Standing stones just as you pull in the car park. Plenty of space for parking and its free. Easy paths to start your journey, looking over the sea.
